Rustic Elegance - Deep Woods Styled Shoot
Yesterday was my first ever wedding-related event that I planned myself with help from Anela Events. Our styled shoot was such an amazing experience; from planning to execution, every detail came together so nicely.
Getting to work closely with the vendors throughout the day was my favorite part. I must say having an amazing vendor team is the key to any successful event, and yesterday was a perfect example of that. It was so wonderful getting to work with these vendors (vendor list below!) and creating those relationships. Learning about different businesses, what they can offer and how they operate and is so crucial to the success of a wedding planner. Making their lives easier, from planning to execution, is really the essence of my job, and really seeing what a wedding planner’s job is like (minus the guests) was such an amazing learning experience for me. AND all of our hard work paid off so much!
Through the planning process over the last three months, I also learned how important it is to have a full checklist as to not forget anything. It is also crucial to have processes in place for workflow and time set aside for fast email responses and time to make sure the other vendors know they appreciated (especially for a styled shoot when most or all vendors are not being paid). Vendor relations are so important and an integral part of my business’s success.
We cannot wait to see and share the professional photos from Belen Isabel Photography and Ava Maria Photography and videos from KW Productions. Sneak peek coming next week!
