Modern Rustic Wedding at Saddlerock Ranch for Savanna & Jeff
Savanna and Jeff tied the knot at The Vineyard at Saddlerock Ranch, one of my favorite venues in Malibu. With views overlooking the Santa Monica mountains and sunny blue skies, this romantic summer wedding was the event of the season. Not only was the day incredibly fun and relaxed, but seamlessly executed by an amazing team of vendors.

Getting Ready + First Looks
Savanna and her bridesmaids got ready in one of the bridal suites at the ranch with the lovely Ciao Bella Beauty Co. They wore matching baby blue robes and sipped on champagne as they prepared for the day. The couple opted for a first look which allowed more time for photos with their bridal party and a quiet moment together before the ceremony. Savanna also did a first look with her dad which was such a tender and bittersweet moment for them both.
The Ceremony
The traditional ceremony was set up overlooking the mountains and framed by a rustic wood chuppah draped in linen and flowers (courtesy of Vibe Florals.) Each guest was provided with a personal fan for their comfort and a live guitarist played softly in the background. They exchanged heartfelt vows and the two were pronounced husband and wife by a close friend of the couple. It was intimate, sweet and the perfect beginning to an unforgettable day!
Cocktail Hour
Getting to join their guests at cocktail hour was one of their favorite parts of the day and something we prioritized when planning their timeline. Servers (provided by Monrose Catering) brought around delicious appetizers and cocktails as they mingled with their loved ones, sunglasses and all. The signature drinks included Spicy Watermelon Margaritas and Sangria which were a huge hit in the warm afternoon sun.

Dinner + Reception
After cocktail hour, everyone made their way to their seats for dinner. Each table was beautifully decorated in elegant white linens and winery mementos (wine bottle table numbers, cork accented centerpieces, etc.) The speeches in honor of the couple were beautifully articulated and some of the best I’ve heard in a long time! In place of cake they had Afters Ice Cream, another guest favorite (myself included!) and a unique twist of tradition. The rest of the evening was filled with laughter, dancing, drinks and an all-around good time.
